 Highway

Red Springs is served by four major North Carolina highways: NC 71, NC 72, NC 211, and NC 710. Three major United States highways and one interstate highway are in close proximity to the town. Interstate 95 and US 301 are located 14 miles southeast of Red Springs. US 401 is 12 miles north of the town, and US 74 is located 12 miles southwest of Red Springs.

 Air

Grannis Field at Fayetteville, 25 miles from Red Springs, offers both air freight service and regular scheduled commercial airline service on US Air, American Airlines, and ASA The Delta Connection. These airlines offer 24 flights out daily. The airport services four major hubs: Raleigh-Durham, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Dallas-Ft. Worth.

Lumberton Municipal Airport, 17 miles from Red Springs, offers service for private aircraft. The airport has two 5,000-foot, paved runways equipped with high intensity lighting. Services available at the airport include private charter, aircraft repairs, jet fuel, and a modern airport terminal with conference room and a pilot's lounge.

 Bus

The Red Springs area is served by Greyhound Bus Lines with direct service to Fayetteville. In Fayetteville, connections can be made for service to additional destinations nationwide.

 Ports

Red Springs has easy access to the state port at Wilmington. This port is approximately 80 miles from Red Springs via US Highway 74.
