A Message from the Town Manager

Welcome to Red Springs
The Town of Red Springs operates under the Council-Manager form of government. This system combines the strength of an elected Mayor and Board of Commissioners with a professional Council-appointed Town Manager and staff.


Responsibilities
The Town Manager oversees the Administration, Fire, Police, Public Works and Public Utility Departments. The Manager is also responsible for the development and administration of the Town’s annual budget and Capital Improvement Plan and acts as a liaison between the citizens by reporting issues to the Town Mayor and Board of Commisioners.

The Town Manager is part of the Administration Department and is assisted in his duties by the Town Clerk, Finance Director, Human Resources Director, Public Works Directror, Director of the Electric Department and the Red Springs Chief of Police. The office of the Manager is located at the Red Springs Municipal Building (Town Hall) 217 South Main Street.
