There are several golf courses in the area including: Pinecrest Country Club in Lumberton; Cliffwood Golf Club in Lumberton; Riverside Golf Club in Pembroke; and the prestigious Cypress Lakes Golf and Country Club in Fayetteville, NC, also known as the home of PGA pro Raymond Floyd. Pinehurst, the Golf Capital of the World, is about a 45 minute drive from Red Springs. The nearest golf course to Red Springs is Scothurst Golf Club, an 18-hole course, eight miles away in Lumber Bridge.
